The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley
Department of Computer Science
Biography
I am a first-year PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, with a background in Applied Mathematics from UC Davis (B.S., 2025). My research interests focus on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and optimization methods, especially their applications in robotics and scientific discovery. Currently, I am working in Professor Jinghao Yang’s lab on integrating vision-language-action models with robotic systems, including robotic arms and sensor fusion. I also have experience in applied statistics, data science, and algorithm development. I am highly motivated to contribute to interdisciplinary projects that combine AI, robotics, and high-performance computing.
