Biography

I am an aspiring space systems engineer with a strong interest in robotics, control systems, and embedded electronics for autonomous and sustainable technologies. I will be interning at Oceaneering Space Systems as a Systems Engineering Intern prior to the start of the SRP-NAIRR summer program, building on my leadership experience in NASA L’SPACE mission design teams, where I served as Lead Systems Engineer and Lead AI and Hardware Engineer, and hands-on personal electronics projects. I am Currently pursuing a B.S. in Computer Information Systems with minors in Cybersecurity and Software Engineering, and am deeply committed to self-guided learning. I regularly study adaptive control, IoT, and hardware integration outside of class and work hours. I actively seek out opportunities to grow, from attending NASA lectures to collaborating in student-led engineering projects. My long-term goal is to pursue a Master’s in Electrical Engineering and contribute to innovative technologies for space exploration and sustainability.

Research Interests

I am deeply motivated to contribute to the space industry, especially in areas that involve designing and building systems to support exploration and sustainability beyond Earth. I’m especially drawn to hands-on, interdisciplinary work that combines electronics, software, and systems thinking. My academic background in Computer Information Systems, along with my minors in Cybersecurity and Software Engineering and self-directed study, has introduced me to programming, circuitry, and embedded systems, which I continue to study independently. Leading student teams through NASA L’SPACE programs has helped me connect my technical skills to real-world mission goals, and I’m eager to keep learning through collaborative research. Ultimately, I want to contribute to meaningful space and sustainability projects that solve tough challenges and push the boundaries of what’s possible.
