Biography
Judy Wang is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science at Florida State University. She earned her B.S. in Quantitative Biology from the University of Southern California in 2023 and an M.A. in Communication, Culture, and Technology from Georgetown University in 2025. Currently, she is pursuing doctoral research in computer science, with a focus on applying machine learning techniques to the analysis of DNA and RNA sequences for the detection of cancer-related abnormalities. Judy brings a distinctive interdisciplinary perspective to her work, drawing on her background in bioinformatics, computer science, and communication to advance the study of complex biological data.
