Biography
I pursued a B.Sc. in Mechanical engineering in Ben-Gurion University. In my second year my father passed away from cancer, which made me almost drop out. I managed to persevere, and learn how resilient I am as a person. After taking a mandatory course in Control Theory I realised I found the topic interesting and would like to pursue it further. Due to that I have opted to take elective courses related to the topic, it was during these courses that I realised that I wanted to work in the field of robotics as well. Nearing graduation I tried to look for jobs in robotics in Israel, but sadly it's not a well defined field in Israel. I have decided to pursue a masters degree in robotics, and was accepted into Arizona State University. In my first semester I took a class under Dr. Wanxin Jin, after which I joined his lab and started conducting research under his supervision.

Research Interests
I'm interested in pursuing research in robotics from the control side. And I understand that AI is taking a big part of engineering research in general, and in robotics in particular. Therefore I'm interested in understanding how to utilize AI for better outcomes in my chosen field. I would also like to explore the application of control techniques on LLMs, as I think this combination is an interesting one.

Relevant Coursework
I'm currently pursuing a course in optimization. In my undergrad I took various courses related to control theory, from classic control theory to modern control theory. As well as courses in micro-controllers in mechanical systems and vehicle dynamics and control.
Publications & Research Projects
I'm currently conducting research in IRIS lab (irislab.tech). I'm currently working along with Zhixian Xie to improve this project and get to a published research. https://zhi-xian-xie.github.io/comp_free_ctrl_site/ We're working on getting the robot to also flip the object, not just rotate it.
